Beginners' Yoga Class
New Comers

Have you always wanted to try yoga but haven’t plucked up the courage yet? At Shanti Shala, we provide a safe space for you to take your first steps on the mat. We run regular beginner’s classes designed especially for newcomers, where we work through the basics together at a gentle pace. Find your inner balance – with no pressure at all.

Discover Yoga Nidra 

Yoga Nidra, also called “yogic sleep”, is a guided meditation that brings you into a state between wakefulness and deep sleep. You lie down comfortably while a teacher guides you through body awareness, breath, and intention. Your body rests completely, but your mind stays awake and alert. 

 

The result: deep nervous system reset, better sleep, less stress, and more clarity. One 45-minute Nidra session can feel as restorative as 2-3 hours of normal sleep.

 

At Shanti Shala we offer Yoga Nidra  

Sessions last between 20 and 90 minutes, depending on the class format. You can join a pure Nidra meditation to fully drop in, or book it combined with Yin Yoga – first we open and soften the body, then we settle into deep rest.

 

No experience needed. Just bring yourself and let go.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that works deeply on the connective tissue and fascia. By holding the poses for a long time, you find calm, release tension and improve your flexibility. A moment of stillness in a noisy world. And it calms your nervous system.

Vinyasa Flow & Power Vinyasa

Vinyasa combines breath and movement into a flowing dance. Powerful and dynamic, it helps you build energy and clear your mind. Perfect for anyone who sees movement as a form of meditation.
